Terms and Conditions

How to enter

1.1

Entrants can submit audio/video to the following address: oliver.harrop@umusic.com,
or by post to the following address:
Oliver Harrop, Decca Records, Beaumont House,
Kensington Village, Avonmore Road, London W14 8TS

Please note that any copies sent to Classic FM studio’s will be forwarded to the postal address, please allow plenty of time for copies to arrive via post.

1.2
By submitting footage or audio, the entrant acknowledges and accepts that any content can be broadcast on Classic FM, or uploaded for public viewing on www.choirsearch.com and www.classicfm.com

1.3
No physical demo’s will be returned to entrant

Eligibility

2.1
Entrant warrants that if they win they do not have an existing recording contract with a third party

2.2
Entrant warrants that if they win they can make themselves available for sufficient dates, as deemed by Decca, between July and December 2010, for album recording and subsequent album promotional activity. This activity will involve travel to London

2.3
The Competition is open to residents of the UK and Northern Ireland only

2.4
Not with standing that a winner has been declared, if Decca discovers that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, Decca reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified

2.5
A choir is defined as body of singers who perform together, formed within a community, of no more than 40 people

Prize

3.1
The prize is defined as a one-album recording contract with Decca

3.2
A panel of music industry professionals chosen by Decca will select a winner. The panel’s decision is final. There will be no voting by the public
